VetSkills Training is available for the whole practice team.

 Excellence is a core value for XLVets and the aim of our training and CPD programmes are to help your practice achieve this.

We provide a range of clinical and non clinical CPD throughout the year that will help improve the skills of all members of your practice team. With particular focus on Graduate Development. Leadership. supporting the Front of House Team and Mentoring.

LEARNING TO LEAD

This programme takes place over two modules and five days, being supported to ensure you can get the most from your team by developing your understanding of leadership theory, the psychology of communication and it's practical application when returning to practice. Whilst developing core leadership skills, such as coaching to help you to manage your leadership ‘energy’.

LEADING PEOPLE

Our two day course to build upon your own experiences to develop a broader understanding of what it means to be a great leader. You will be given the time and space to learn about new models and tools that will enhance your leadership capability.
